If my mom hadn't fed me for a few days when I was little, I would probably have survived. However, the Department of Social Services would probably still have taken me away. There's a difference between an animal being able to survive something and it being an acceptable thing to do to them.
:i dont have anyone that will take care of them but i had one iggy get loose and survive 5 days in 30 degree weather so i think they will be ok if i feed them alot before i go and leave a big dish of water. i never give my iggys baths so thats not an issue. ::I have someone come in a turn on and off their lights and give them fresh greens. I make up the greens and them in baggies with the names. They don't get their baths and they are still mad at me, but I know that someone is looking in on them.
