I spend about 1 hour in tha am fedding Lizzy and the other pets before even getting myslef redy for work. My lunch break is going home to feed Lizzy again and clean up an poop she made.
Night time same thing, feeding, cleaning, bathing and just spending time.
I would say Lizzy takes more of my time than my cats do. The fish well they are pretty easy care.
So yes do the rescue as was suggested but be prepared to give up a lot of time.
