dob = date of birth.
2/2000 = february(2), 2000

:May I ask you a question??How can you guess an iguana age after (of couse) it became an adult?What est.dob=2/200 means??Sorry but sometimes it is difficult for me to follow the debates in this FORUM because of my poor English!!

::Kahlua is guessed to be anywhere between 3 and 5 years of age. She lived in a 20 gallon long aquarium her whole life, on top of Aspen Shavings and a hot rock. NO UV. She is stunted and has numerous scars from burns on her underside. Her nose also had an abcess that fell off. Now, her nostrils are a bit deformed. Her lip was recessed, because the scar tissue was tight. Now it is almost perfectly alligned with her bottom lip.
::As I mentioned before, she is stunted and only 3 feet long. She has a very beautiful, full, long tail.
::Tarzan, my hunky (of course, anything is beautiful in hUmommy's eyes =P) male iguana, is about 2 inches short of 4 feet (last time i managed to measure him). Tarzan is 2.5 years old (est. dob = 2/200). and i am YET to get some good pictures of him!
::he's been such a pest at times, lately. I guess I can forgive him because his breeding season is approaching and his hormonal engine is revving up =P. He has decided that the TOP of his 6 foot high cage is a better perch than INSIDE of it. Also, he has determined that the carpeted floor just inside of the doorway is a prime target for poop deposits!! Imagine how pleased I am when I step RIGHT in it!!! >_< *doh*
:::How old is your iguana? my boris looks that size hes an adoptee and dont know how old he is, is yours a female though because boris' spikes look a lot bigger.
