hey! i doupt that anyone here remembers me, but i've had my iguana Tiamat for almost 2 years now (Aug. 22 is her 2nd birthday) i was sure that she is indeed a she, but now i have doupts, lol. The pores on her legs are rather small, and she doesn't show any of the other signs of being male. but anyway, she has always been the sweetest thing.....till about 3 days ago. The other day when i went in to give her breakfast, she started bobbing her head at me, then lunged at the side of the cage. :/ I also noticed that she was alot darker that day. it was really hot out, over 90 in the room that she's in, so i didn't have her lights on. i put her in her outside cage when its nice out so she can get sunlight, and keeps her lights on when its cold. Anyway (i talk too much!!) she has bobbed her head before, but never attacked like that! Yesterday and today she didn't attack, but she's still not herself. she's very healty tho, still eating LOTS and goin to the bathroom and all. (she's litterbox trained) Could it be that she thinks its breeding season, my friend had an iguana that would get like this during breeding season, but her's was a male. i was thinkin that she could be defending her teratory, because the week before i went to Maine for a few days and i had to leave her at the vets, so she was in a much smaller cage than she's used to. wow, see, i told you that it was loong! sowwy to bother everyone, but if anyone can help me it'd be soooooo apreciated! thanks!
