Yes, he got a completely clean bill of health! Such a relief to me!! So, I guess he is just being hormonal (you'd think he was a girl). If only he would start to eat normal, I would be soooo happy! I'm supposed to check back in with the vet in a week to let him know how he's doing.
And yes, I too have learned from this experience that the anticipation of a treat can help - we had grapes after the evil-icky medicine. I also tried to make it into a routine. I would get him out of his enclosure, wrap him in a towel and go into the bathroom. As soon as we were done, we would go into the living room for grapes (my peace offering to him) and he would then have his free time. It seemed to help!
