I also have a very long hair and so thick I can tie a knot on a present box with it!! I also lose thousands of hair every day but this is not my problem, this is my filipino maid's problem!!!

:I have long hair and you would think I would be bald with the amount of hair I lose daily...but I have super thick hair I guess. Anyway, my hair has broken the vacuum repeatedly...and now we have to take it apart after every room that we vacuum to get all the hair wound tightly around the spindle thing....the smell of burnt rubber forces us to do this! My hair also ends up sticking out of Sleestack's vent and that is no fun for him either. Luckily I don't comb my hair anywhere near his walking routes to try to minimize his ingestion. If anyone has any ideas about a better vacuum that may not break on us...please feel free to share your tricks (aside from cutting my hair...not an option!)
