:You and your dad want to make a trip to ohio and build one for me hehe (I can wish can't I lol)

::Wendy,
::Defintly my email to use is jcwallace@rebird.net id love to hear a break down of it and get prices (AH yes I know the shower board well was just looking at it for my upstairs bathroom we have to do. Im deffintly going to be talking to hubby is the whole thing plexi glass? The door? How did you handle the ventilation issues?

:: glad you liked Myka's enclosure! I love it too!

:::My Dad and I made it this past week. He's amazing and can build anything! We didn't make any plans for it, I had an idea of what I wanted in my head, so we made what I wanted! I'd have liked it to be bigger, but my Mom wouldn't go for it being any bigger and they said that once I move out I won't be able to get an apartment big enough to keep it in if I made it any bigger.

:::I'm not sure what it would cost because all of the hardwood we cut down and sawed into boards ourselves. Roughly $1000 CA overall I think, but I'll ask my Dad about that to see what he says.

:::The tree is an ironwood (hornbeam), the hardest tree found in Nova Scotia. I found it a couple hundred feet away from my house down by a pond. Me and my Dad cut it down and had to haul it up hill through the woods to get it home....it weighed like 200 pounds!

:::No, it isn't sand on the bottom *grins*, it's the stuff that is used for countertops. Abberite I think it's called? Barkerboard is on the back of the enclosure, it's the stuff that people put in their showers or by their bathtubs so it's waterproof. It does look like tile, but it's an awful lot easier to put on! It comes in 4x8ft sheets, so we just screwed 2 sheets on.

:::If you really want to build a cage like Myka's, I can get more information and email it to you if you like! Just let me know! Wendy :)

:::PS: It can be taken apart fairly easy and I have pictures of all the steps needed to put it together.
