:I think I can shed some light on why they did what they did, but I'm not positive. First of all...as far as forums go...there are alot nicer ones then this with alot of extra features, but they all lack something very important...They cant be indexed for search engines like good old fashion html pages can. although there are alternatives around this and I think php maybe be some what indexable now..but that would be alot more programming on ks's part. The new login is so people dont use bs accounts. There are probably a thousands of accounts that people just make up. The email elivates this. Also the timing out of the login is probably only cookied for about 20-30 minutes or something...where personally I would leave no expire time on it and just let the cookie go when the browser is closed.

::That logging in crap took me forever! I wasn't signed up...it's a bit rediculous to have to wait for 2 emails and reply to both of them. And now if they were changing things, why didn't they change them for the better? They could have gone to one of those format types that puts the latest reply to the top of the list, and puts how many views and how many responses to the side...and collapses all the responses to you don't see them until you click on the orginal. Those are nicer. When forums get busy, posts get buried and it's hard to even find an old post...the bearded dragon forum is VERY BUSY all the time! The iguana forum has been pretty tame for awhile now. I guess Tmom is right or whatever your name is now (Asomething), we have to get used to change...but I say CHANGE SHOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT!!!
