:After 5 weeks of her spay, the stitches are out. She took most of them out herself, by rubbing her belly as igs do while walking around, the 2 or 3 that were left we taken out by the vet today. Incision looks good. I have been putting neosporin on it 1-2 times a day. The "new skin" looks strange because its, well...skin color vs. being green. I can say she's back to normal and eating well. It was very nerve wrecking the first couple of weeks after the surgery....you worry about everything, but I guess that's to be expected. She never had any problems other than no appetite, but Gerber took care of that.
