Just for reference:
I just checked Liz-Rex data on this -
Rex had that STL (3') at age 16 months, Liz at 15 months.
As already mentioned:
It is still very difficult to guess your iguanas age when history is not known (at least not to me).
Small cages alone stunts growth, among all other easons you already mention.
That I also strongly believe.
Small cages lead to many bad things that certanily influence the growth of the iguana.
Bad or no temp range, dirty environment (bad air, if pooping in small cage made of glas),
stress, less moving around and a BORED iguana.
Still main reason may be:
TOO small cage.
I think most creatures on this planet would stay small if they were not given enough space.
Just my thoughts.
