:To make a long story short, and to get to the point...
:I had an iguana that I raised from a hatchling, he was very tame. When he approached sexual maturity at close to 2 years old, he CHANGED...He was sitting in my lap while I was watching TV one day, then all of a sudden he jumped up and bit my chin, and was never the same towards me since. Other people he was fine with, but not me. My family had to feed him and do many of the things I used to do for him, because if I went within site of him, he would go NUTS. These are some of the things he did..
:headbobs, chasing me around the house, trying to bite me, ramming himself against his cage to the point that he had no nose left! After another year or so, trying to work with him, I finally had to place him in a new home. He was 6' long & 10lbs @ 4 years old when I got rid of him. He left me no choice. Half the time I felt he wanted to kill me and the other half I felt as if he was interested in breeding with me..I kid you not!!! He would also ejaculate on my leg, while he was attached to it, while chasing me around the house. He would leap on and hold on. Embarrasing, but true. My only advise is...consider getting him neutered, or find him a new home. Does he turn orange too???
