I'm sorry you've been tied down like that. Man, i can't imagine what life would be like if i was on such a limited loop. =\

:I get Social Security and disability payments. I seldom take in my rescues personally, just do the grunt work on info gathering, calling proper authorities, serving as expert witness in trials, etc. The animals go to a shelter and wait for adoption, if they're lucky. If I do take in the animals, it's only after the pet store has lost its case and is fined. The upkeep fund comes out of a portion of those fines. I've recently gotten non-profit status so I'm hoping I can collect adoption fees and find some saleable items that will allow me to expand my efforts.
:I do go out, but only when wearing a surgical mask and breathing bottled air instead of room air. Still can't go to places with carpeting, though. :-(
