: Hi everyone! This is a great place, I've been reading the messages and enjoying everyone's pics of their iguanas. My iguana is approx. 18 months old, and his name is Emerald. He is a good boy and very spoiled and loved. My home office became HIS room and now he lets me keep my computer there :-)His room has been fixed up so that he has basking shelves and climbing poles to get to them and his UVB lights and heat lights. He is a total free roamer and now his old "deluxe condo" is being inhabited by SweetiePie, my new blue tongued skink. I'm in the process of having my front porch enclosed properly so that I can open the window to my, errrr Emerald's room, and he will be able to go out and get sun whenever he likes. Did I mention he is spoiled?! Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone and show off my handsome green guy.

Welcome...I love to see iguana's that are loved and spoiled! There are a lot that are, then I think sometimes there are even more than lead sad, neglected short lives.
Personally...I think that they should ban the sale of those cute impulse buy babies, until they can adopt out all the bigger ones that need homes. Ok, off my soap box.
