Hi everyone, I have posted a couple times here, thought i would introduce myself and my iggy. My name is Melissa. My iguana's name is Lil' Geek, or just Geek. She is a hatchling, well a few months old I think. I got her from the petstore I work at, because she was sick. I always take home the sick animals. Anyway, she was supposed to just stay here until she got better but I can't find a new home for her (not that im looking, just making my mom think I am:). She has all the correct lighting (UV and heat) and diet (dark greens and mix of fruits, basically mk's salad). She is just a regular green iguana iguana. She gets a daily hour bath and about 20 minutes in the sun, depending on how she is behaving. If she starts jumping off me we go back inside. She is a brat too, she bites and whips me all the time, but she is starting to trust me more. When she gets scared when she is out of her cage she comes to me, so I think thats a good sign. When she is big enough she is going to be a free roamer. Until then she is in a tank. She is very small, her body fits on my thumb. She was smaller than all the others she came in with too, much smaller, but they are all around the same age. Its weird, she is a runt i guess? Oh, I don't know if geek is a girl or a boy, but compared to some of the others her spikes and jowls are really small, so for now I am calling geek a girl. I enjoy reading about everyone's iguanas:)
