I have to check my old boxes from Indonesia to find where I read the slow loris belongs to the same family of the panda!!But you are right, I should not have given that information without being 100% sure!!
Here is the photo of my daughter's Malu-Malu.The photo is not good because was taken by her with her camera( At that time she was only 6 years old)
Although they look like a monkey they have the funniest legs I ve seen in a mammal!!One of the legs is here the other is......... there!Like in the opposites sides of a trapeze, thats why they cannot run fast!!And they poop like rabbits!!But they are VERY affectionate!!That one you see in the photo could spend whole day hanging in my daughter's neck!!
By temperament they are shy(shy=Malu in Indonesian language) but in normal conditions after getting used to you they are very talkative and playful.As I said before ours never were.
