around my neck and chest.We have several types of tegus,monitors and other reptiles that this has helped orient them to us.
We also don't wear any fragances and we usually wear a t-shirt that we've held one lizard on for several days so their scent is on you.
I know alot of monitor people don't like "dog tame" monitors,,,but we love to hold and love our kids and we allow them supervised roaming in our home and yard.
