Yes, they do change darker when they are trying to absorb more rays...he was loving it. When they start to get more pale, it usually means they are all warmed up. Watch his colors in a luke warm bath...Sleestack gets dark, then very light when he is relaxing and all warm in the tub. He reminds me of one of those hypercolor shirts they used to have that change color with temperature. (or should I say the shirt stole it from nature!)
