: Jennifer...one quick suggestion regarding Spots burns & diet...may want to increase the protein in his diet for the next couple of weeks...only because it helps to repair tissue & blood. Perhaps tofu, throw a couple of garbanzo beans in his salad , yogurt. my vet reccomended adding dog food for two weeks...BLECH! Feo ate it ! (afterward I had to remind him that it isn't nice to bark at the maillady! j/k..Hope this helps..may want to just CALL l a vet and ask for feedback. Usually works & won't cost nuttin.& don't get freaked out about all the things you may need to get to keep Spot healthy & happy..it usually is expensive in the beginning..but will save you big bucks later down the road (i.e. HUGE vet bills because of improper husbandry etc) Change your UVB strip light every 8-9 months too. I know after reading all our posts you took Spot back right? lol...Hang in there Jennifer..we're rootin for ya! Juana wants to know if Spot is sexy (she also has a preference for younger igs) ..down girl!
