...my opinion.I would try my best to save the iguana, not to give him away to die with strangers!!

**************************************************Hello, I just found this forum and I'm glad i did. here's a little about my experience with these beautiful animals. About a year and a half ago I adopted a full grown iguana while at a yardsale. Man, was I excited! I hit all the bookstores I could find, the library, and of course the Web trying to learn all that I could. And I studied a lot! Well, about 6 months ago my neighbor bought a healthy baby from a petshop(believe it or not) and offered to trade me. Now I was attached to that lizard, and wasn't sure about it. But a few days went by, and I got to thinking. I would like to watch one grow up, and go through all the life stages they go through. So we traded. Now I have this fiesty little guy named Alex. he's (?) about 8 months old and growing up so fast and healthy that it makes me proud. I love that little guy (again ?, as i can't tell yet). Unfortunately Gator, the adult I traded, was already sick from MBD.The people I got her from fed her cat food! Well she passed away about a month ago, and my daughter(she's 6) was so mad at me.She thought they killed her. Anyway... that's my story
