I dont think it is COMPETENT his casual attitude about the "object"in the X-ray.I think he misunderstood what the x-ray was showing during the 1st visit..

: We went and got x-rayed again last Monday (right before our vacation) and the "object" was still in the same place, but she had pooped all the extra poop out and as far as the vet could see, she was all healthy. So he's thinking that it could either be a mineral deposit or an abscess (sp?). Either way, I need to go back in a little while to check on her health. Oh, and the vet isn't sure that she's a she. The first time that I went he said he was leaning toward a girl (he never posatively identified "her"). He heard me say she and said that he thought it was actually probably a boy. At any rate, I think I'm going to go to another vet. Although I want a second opinion, the drive is also a bit far if its not necessary. He still seems very knowledgable and deals with several iguanas (even very large ones), but he was SO casual about the "object" in the x-ray. And I am SO SO sorry, but I was running really behind and I forgot to grab the camera to take pictures. I'll have to try for next time.

: What do you guys think?
