I didnt know this article , but I completely agree! My igs will accept animal protein ONLY as their last choice before starving!!

If they are hungry and I offer them a boiled egg, a dog food or greens, they will attack the greens first!!

I know that because I used to keep my SKINK in the same cage with my iguanas.SKINKs ONLY eat animal protein.So every day I put in their cage a bowl with sardine, boiled eggs and cat food.My igs NEVER ate the SKINKs food.But I never let my igs hungry!!
