Chicken wire is not a good material for use on a cage. Two things come to mind: 1. your iguana may rub it's nose raw on it (very likely) 2. it can also cut/brake fingers on your iguana.
There is a plastic fencing material that has 3/8's to 1/2" openings on it, that would make a much better cage material. There's a few people on this forum that have internet addresses where you can purchase the material.
