Why? It's a hell of a lot more sanitary than having it sit in a cage until being noticed, getting germs all over your house from being walked in by your famous aritiste iguana. As long as you disinfect after using the tub, it's about the most sanitary way there is. Besides that, it's a much easier cleanup.
