and in my opinion, safer than a harness and easier on the spikes. These can be made with any type of soft cording from a sewing or craft store (usually sold by the foot), judge the size and strength by the size of your lizard. You also need a spring barrel clasp, also sold in the sewing department and used primarily for drawstrings in jackets and such. Total cost for 2 leashes here is about $3.50. Again, this leash is shown modeled by my Rhino female, taken over a year ago. This type of leash will work on any size and type of lizard, except a sheltopusik. :)
