: I just posted about my ig that ate something she shouldn't have, but I have a new concern. I took her to the vet to recheck for worms and because she had very hard lumps in her sides. The x-ray sure enough showed that she not only had something in her stomach, but that she was full of s**t (as the vet put it). ;) This was Monday that she went. Spike has always been a good eater and pooper so it suprised me to see all that poop in her belly. Tuesday I started with the baby food, water, and laxative. Tuesday in the afternoon I bathed her and she pooped like she always does, but I know she did not pass the hard thing (it was very dense in the x-ray) and she did not poop any more than she usually does, but her sides do not feel hard anymore, at all! I know there is no way she passed it any other time nor pooped out all of her poop unless she got out of her cage some how pooped elsewhere and then got back in without a trace (which I honestly wouldn't put past her) so I'm wondering what is going on. It is Wednesday night now and the same is going on. We did our routine today, she pooped (with no object) and she is still not hard on her sides. I mean, this sounds like good news, but I don't understand what changed. That object has to still be in there and there is no way she pooped out all that poop. She was hard in her belly for probably a week before I could get her in at the vet!
: : The only thing that I can think is that since she isn't eating as much (only baby food and water) and she is still pooping the same amount that she was before (when she was eating) that what is coming out is extra (back up poop). The funny thing is that its only been two days.
: : What's going on, any ideas?
: : Thanks,
