You are right in that the diet debate continues. And yes it is changing as they discover new info. But the current state of knowledge is that iguanas should be fed only on plant material. I would want my vet to know this and all other current information regarding Iguanas if he/she is going to care for mine. The old 'that's the way it was always done' is a hard thing to get past. But if I were sick and went to the doctor I would hate to see him bring out a bowel of leeches.
