I respect your opinion, but as an ig owner, how in the world can you possibly advocate brining your iguana to a vet who doesn't know that recommending animal protein can eventually lead to kidney failure? If it is you who thinks that animal protein is okay then all I have to say is you must only take in the information on this site very selectively if at all. Maybe I took your post the wrong way, I don't know.

: I dont think thats a really fair question being that they cant get the human diets figured out how can they get a lizards diet figured out. Everyone seems to have their own answers and opinion in diets. There are just as many people raising iguanas on part meat/veg diets. Besides all that your main concern is that he can recognize the signs of malnutrition and knows what protazoas and eggs look like. If the iguana was getting operated on...then you would definately want some questions answered before going.
