remember that your normal body temperature is in the 90's, so warm water is near to a 100 degrees. I've actually taken the temps of "warm" and "lukewarm" water, and boy oh boy, its not as cool as you think it is!
try using water that would be like comfortable pool water... which is around 70-75 degrees temp.
I know that Tarzan didn't completely enjoy the idea of baths at first, and still isn't too thrilled about "soaking" in a prison of un-climbable walls! =) He'd do his business and wade for the time being before his business, but as soon as that was done, he'd sit there and paw at the walls of the tub trying to get out.
He has a kitty litter pan filled with water to go "potty" in now. It works great, and keeps the tub free of icky poop! ^.~
