It's his first day with you in his new home, so of course he's not going to feel comfortable with you putting him in a drowning pool and trying to kill him, or at least that's what he thinks you're trying to do.

Do it daily, he'll get used to it. Also, they are creatures of habit so if you bathe him, try to do it at a certain time of day and the same goes for feeding and other stuff. Give it a few days, he'll come around, and you'll surely become his finest slave yet.

: Just got home from Getting My New Ig!!!!!!!! He's sssssoooo much more beautiful in person then in picture! Gave me the offical "Welcome, My New Slave" Greeting all up and down My arm. But as most of you know, the scratches will heal. I'll post pics soon as I get them. Thanks for all your help thus far and I'm sure I'll need more of it in the future! :)
