do you have this link yet??
Jen Swofford's Basking Spot
she's got super diet info on her site ~ i pretty much printed out the tables and made shopping lists from them when i 1st became iZ's mom ~ it *IS* hard to remember it all in the beginning!!!
(+ now it's kinda scary how much i know about various foods + digestive stuff! hubby quizes me in the grocery store ... LOL)

sunflower seeds? no ... keep in mind that while igs DO have teeth (lot + lots of *sharp* ones!) they do *not* chew ... i'm not sure the sunflower seeds would digest ... hmmmmmm ... kinda like corn ... goes straight thru ... :P
but my main reason for saying "no" is that seeds/nuts have a high fat content and igs aren't "built" to digest foods that are high in fat ...

tomatos? hmmmmm ... i don't see it on "the bad list" ... they're rather acidic tho + so have the potential to be irritating to the ig's mouth (same as citrus fruits) ...

+ now after all this talking about healthy food, i have an intense craving for something CHOCOLATE .... heh heh heh

good luck! (i'm excited right along with you!!!)
Bon.

ps. don't feel the need to apologize for asking bunches o' questions!!! 99% of us did the exact same thing ~ *me* especially i think ... :)
