One generally dominates the other-- isn't so great for the health of the submissive one (many time injuries can occur) and the dominant one will usually grow larger. A female iguana will get injured from a horny male and should be allowed a separate enclosure for her own peace of mind/safety. Sometimes igs can live together in harmony, but it can be extremely stressful for them other times.
A screen enclosure doesn't sound like it can hold up to 1 or 2 large iguanas. They can rip through screen as they get bigger....and it is hard on their noses/mouths if they rub. (they will get bloody and scarred) I have seen this for myself.
