Drinking water for Igs is like basking for RES....(more)

Generally RES (Red Ear Slider turtle) dont like to be seen basking.They feel very vulnerable out of the water, basking on a rock.They know predators can come and eat them.In my opinion igs feel the same way.The feel very vulnerable down on the ground exposed to the predators.They can eat up in the trees, hidden by the leaves, but they need to go down to drink water from a river.
Godzilla drinks water in front of me.He is very bold.To see T-REX, Thorn and Shena drinking water I need to hide myself behind the curtains!!
It is just my opinion...
