: I went to take Sneakers out today and she just went nuts. Every now and then she does a little but this was like we were back to square one. Took her out anyway because if she is a little scared she usually will settle right down. She remained totally upset with me the whole time. This was like we went back a month or two in time. Finally asked the kids if something had happened to Sneakers I didn't know about. My daughter told me that when the neighbors 8 year came over the last night she had gotten on a chair and managed to open the top of the cage. She had chased Sneakers all around the cage trying to grab hold of her. My daughter had walk in the room and caught her trying this and made her stop.
: I will be talking with this little girl and her Dad (he's a really good friend), but I hope this didn't destroy a lot of work we have put in. Looks like we are going to be looking for a combination lock for the top of Sneakers cage. We quite often have small children around, but so far they have all obeyed the rule, look don't touch. We have animal proofed her cage and now we will be small child proofing it. I'm just happy that she didn't manage to get Sneakers out of the cage and let her go or pull off her tail.

Joan, poor Sneakers!Hope she settles down poor little girl.Try holding her in the evening and rock her and whisper to her, it really works for Cirsis when she goes to the vet or she see's something we don't, it settles her right down.I know when she is up set, you could hold her by her tail and use her to drive nails she'ssoo stiff.Good luck and we send our hugs and extra big double hibicus flowers to Sneakers and one flower for you.
