Yes it is good you will be taking her soon. Try to make sure it is a good herp vet. Look at www.herpvetconnection.com for references if you need one.

I would ask the vet about calcium injections because it sounds like she is in a bad state of MBD if she is getting crippled. She needs some help ASAP. I'm glad that you are working to change her diet because this will greatly help her get over her MBD. Unfiltered sun is going to help her alot too. Keep her near you so she cannot escape. It sounds like with her heatlh, she is probably not at her full strength-- be careful with her because she can break her bones very easily at this time. When you heal her up, she will be much stronger and fiesty! So, take this opportunity to spend a lot of time with her (she'll know you are helping her if you are gentle and sweet to her) Hopefully you'll form a nice strong bond. You always fall for the injured ones the most..they get your heart everytime!
