perhaps its swollen, from hitting it aganist the window?

try opening up his mouth by gently pulling down on his dewlap. Is it gooey in there?
He just might have mouth rot (stomatitis, I think is the medical term).
The stressful change in habitat for the week could have set his body off-balance and his immune system haywire. Stress = weakness = poss. source of mouth rot?
take him to the vet, get a diagnosis from a trained proffesional (as I sure as heck am not one!=P)
