When I first brought Amazon home, the 30"wx16"dx37't cage seemed overwhelming, so I temporarily moved the little baby into a 29 gallon tank where s/he seems much more at home.
I realize that in a month we'll probably need to do the big move once again, but s/he is eating and soaking and basking in the smaller cage instead of just hiding.
When we do the move, do you folks recommend doing it in stages, like a few hours playtime in the big cage and then back home? Or one fell swoop? Or should I do it like with my budgies and let him see the cage for a few days to pique interest before trying anything scary like moving?
All opinions welcomed.
