it took iZ a while before he decided that he *liked* being in water ... if your ig has never done it before, it could be a scary thing just cuz it's a new thing ...
with iZ, i started out with the water barely covering the bottom of the tub, really, just enough to warm up the bottom of the tub a bit ...
and i still had to lean over the edge so he could hold onto me ... (he hated new things even more than me!)
take it slow and don't push *too* hard ... from those 10 second get-yer-toes-wet-and-get-out "baths", bathtime ended up being THE BEST time of the day for me + iZ and he'd soak for up to 2 hours at a time some days ...
(i finessed a shower hose hook-up so the water could stay running + keep it warm but the end of the hose was under water so it DIDN'T make noise)
