I left town for a month and had the boyfriend herp-sit for me; when I left, Phil was a sweet, demure 9-month old ig. When I came back last week, he was a month older, a LOT larger, and fiesty as can be. He's gained enough strength and size now to weasel his way out of my grasp when I reach into his cage, and he started tail whipping, which he never does. So it's back to hours of riding around on my shoulders while I clean, play the guitar, etc. It's a little disheartening because we were developing a bond and now it feels like we're back to square one. But, that's the price you pay for trying to be 'friends' with a giant green lizard.
Anyway, Phil is always better behaved after a 5 minute bath. He almost always poops in the tub, so it prevents any unhappy accidents too ;-). Good luck with Igga,
-Lily
