I've only had Joey for a week and he doesn't seem to be eating much (as I said before).
Flavia says to check his tail base and his thighs to see if he is skinny...and he sure looks skinny to me especially when I see everyone else's pics.
We have been working frantically re-doing his enclosure (he had no basking shelf at all...only one tree branch...and no area he could hide in).
From the picture you can see that his tail is crooked at one spot. Could it be broken; could a vet do something with it even if it was done a long time ago? He also must have lost his end of his tail when he was little since it looks all black and has a different texture; his toes are mostly all crooked and many of his nails are missing.
One more thing...he has black coloration marks on his side of his body and one at the top...are these scars? They feel 'different' than the rest of his skin.
