Yes, they like to swim and they swim very well, like frogs. But I always give them warm baths.Iguanas hate to be cold so the water must be warm. After the bath you wrap him up with a towel rub his head and he will probably sleep. This can help a little bit to regain his trust. The problem is when you give him again the medicine he ll be terrified again.

. Say, in a bathtub? I'm trying to figure out how I can regain my Iguannut's trust. She is just terrified of me ever since I had to give her medinice. I've tried handling her for long periods of time each day, but really, nothing seems to help. I think I need to stop the handling and try to regain it the way I started (hand feeding and petting) and then work up. But what I was wondering is if maybe a swim in the tub would actually be a treat for her and she might associate my handling then with swims instead of me sticking gross tasting stuff in her mouth. Although I have to admit, she doesn't try to bite because she knows the second she opens her mouth I'll stick something in there. :) But seriously, it sadens me to have her so scared of my presence when before we were doing so well.
: Any tips?
: Thanks,
