Stonetown vet plays host to roving rooftop reptile

By Free Press staff

Police hope the owner of a lizard found lounging on a St. Marys rooftop will collect the critter.

The big iguana, spotted sunbathing atop a Wellington Street home Tuesday, was rounded up by police and animal control as bemused locals looked on.

The nearly one-metre reptile has been cooling its scales at the St. Marys Veterinary Clinic ever since.
