I should be okay because Buster is highly trained service cat who helps me know when my heart is beating an abnormal rhythm. Along with that training the animal behaviorist worked carefully with him that only loose crickets or other bugs that might find their way into my place are acceptable prey items.

He is best friends with my budgies, which he could eat in two bites, and lets them perch on his head instead. He also is good with my bearded dragons.

Still, I will handle Amazon only when Buster is secured in another room, as much to avoid stressing my iguana as to make sure Buster behaves. When they finally do meet I will be ready with tools to keep Buster at a distance. A yardstick gently but firmly pressed against his chest is the sign that he is not allowed to come closer,and a mist from a spray bottle will send him running if he is too persistent to obey the first boundary.
