really it depends on where you live... If you live in a dry area, extra measures should be taken like using a humidifier etc. If you live in a humid state, then some additional misting or daily baths seem sufficient. If you live in a cold area, you need a more insulated cage while a hotter area can utilize more plastic hardware cloth or a more ventilated cage-- unless you have a nose rubbing iguana like mine!
I live in Florida and here is a link to my cage I built recently. I didn't concern myself with the humidity factor much because of my location so this design may not work for you. Because I have a nose rubber, I chose melamine and plexiglass as my main material (which is easily cleaned and kind to his face!) You may not want to spend this much or you may prefer a different design (and there are many...you can use woods, hardware cloth, tile/linoleum, convert a closet, plastic mesh, glass, plexiglass, etc. (or any combination of these). Use your imagination or do a search online. Just keep in mind size, your lighting height/safety, ease of cleanliness and access, iguana safety, fun things to climb high, placement of food and water, etc.
