I keep my IGS outside, in the balcony. My igs only eat when they are warm enough to digest the food. This happens beteen 11 and 12 AM.That's why I never put their salads in their bowls before 11 AM.When the weather is not hot enough they almost dont eat(But this is very rare where I live!!).Perhaps your ig only gets warm at that hour.

: the last place Joey was at they fed him at night and gave him his light at night. Now I would like him to switch that around; however this task seems easier said than done. Last night at 12 am he still hadn't eaten...he waited until about 2 am. Today I put his salad out at 9 am and he still hasn't touched it. The greens are starting to look wilty...and I will need to make him a fresh salad by tonight so that it is still 'tasty' when he decides it's feeding time.
: How can I teach him to eat in the daytime?
