Jeff...same thing has happened to my Feo and its been over a year & no signs of these spikes returning to orginal pointy state. He's been through four sheds(spikes) since. Ive read that its kinda like an amputation of the spike..caused by poor shed (not getting it off in time causing the old spike to basically suffocate itself) can be caused by Ig being dehydrated, improper husbandry, or other physical problems. Im at a loss as well. Are the spikes that are squared off kind of look frayed or splintered?Wish I could be more help..Im crossing my fingers that someday Feo will get em back! He's still a bad-a** dragon
square, pointed, with or without!
