Darwin isn't eating as usual!

I recently built Darwin a new cage(castle). It isn't exactly a whole room(like iZ has), but it is the largest cage he's ever been in......it is 6ft high, by 4 by 4.......He won't come down off of the highest branch inside there. He usually eats a particularly large amount every day, but since his new house....he's eating only half of that or less. It almost seems like he's too lazy to come down off of his high branch! We have the temp in there pretty good....we don't know what's wrong. Any suggestions?
