: Growth depends on the subspecie. : Some grow to a max of 2ft, others 4ft. Similis and pectinata are known to be the largest. : Ctenosauras are known to be nastier than green cousins, dont tame as much, but u can get them to not bite ur hand off. : Diety is 90% veggie, 10% protein. Captive care practically identical to greens, with possibly less humidity required, since they live in arid areas as well. : Their smaller size is the bigger advantage over greens, but it will be hard to tame it likewise. : If u want something similar with a similar diet and care, u may look up Australian Water Dragons at Agama International. : Similar colors, but a much nicer disposition. Diet may be 50/50 though. : Ask Mark M. at the ctenosaura forum for more information, he's a nice guy, and an experienced breeder of many subspecies of ctenosauras. : Good luck!
