Good luck to you and your new ig rescue!
A good diet is mostly dark leafy calcium rich greens like collard, mustard, turnip greens, escarole, endive, watercress, dandelion, hibiscus leaves, supplemented with other veggies like squashes, green beans, snow peas, and a little fruit like melons, berries, papaya, mango.
Get the UVB light (bulbs), heatlamp basking area set up in your room (up high is what they like). Occasional vitamins and calcium supplements should be used. If the diet is good enough, you don't need a lot of extra calcium.
He could use a vet visit by a qualified herp vet but at very least take a VERY fresh stool sample in to test for parasites (so you can treat and save contaminating your other reptiles). Keep an eye on that tail (watch for dry gangrene on the end)
And of course unfiltered direct sunlight does wonders!
