Sneezing is absolutely normal for your iguana to do. It's your iguana's only way to emit salt, so it's necessary.

: hey, my ig has been sneezing for a while now, and it's starting to bother me. i ask the guys at herpeton about it and he asked if it is a salty secretion. yes it is. he said that they only release salt thru pee and sneezing. my questions are: should he be sneezing so much that you can't even see him after one day? should i take him to the vet for that? also, where is he getting so much salt from? he eats collard greens every day (somedays w/ carrots) and only on wkends does he get crickets and worms, but they are dusted in reptocal. do any of these foods have a lot of salt in them? please help, thanx
