I'm very glad to hear you haven't decided to take the easy way out and have him put to sleep, after all, it's not his fault he's in this situation.
There are surely people here who would be willing to take on another ig, so keep checking your post. Someone will at the least direct you to a reptile rescue you can get in touch with. You can also look around the site and might be able to find some information.
Good Luck,
John-Paul
: I keep lots of boids, and that is where my primary interests lie, however I agreed to help a co-worker out by adopting or keeping an Iguana of his for a small amount of time while he sorted some arrangemens of a maritial nature out. It appears I now own this iguana and it's caging and equipment. I would really prefer this guy to be in a home of better care and understanding it seems he is male, quite large and hard for even me to handle, anyone in the Atlanta or georgia area wanting to take on this challenge would get a healthy iguana with a cage and all equipment. The vet recommended uthanasia! I don't want to get him into the pet store system I feel his current male attitude might invite abuse.
: Any rescue info would be greatly appreciated
: thank you
